And I feel pretty good for an 'old' man!!

 

I'd like to feel your age.

 

I feel it today. My knee is stiff from the rain and I’m sleepy. I’m going to start yelling at kids to stay off my lawn soon

 

Right now, covering from surgery, I feel much older than my age.

 

Older. 41 with bad knees, and back. Blind from years of welding. Nearly deaf from working in the engine room of a ship for a few years, and a couple extra years of working under hovering rescue helicopters while out at sea. I get short on breath walking the 100 yards up to the barn every day. Diverticulosus, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety. 2 more hernias developing that are just about due for surgery. And the list keeps getting longer lmao.

 

At times much older than I am

Feeling younger today than 5 years ago.

In fact younger than 20 years ago.

 

I feel older then my age but that's what happens when you beat it up badly and I kinda look my age with my beard I shave it and look like I'm in my 20s

 

I definitely feel my age when I'm tired.

But although I'm not the fit young man I once was, I know that I'm in better condition than many others at my age. And I'm not that old anyway...

 

Feel sometimes, act never

 

Oh man…about a month ago I literally almost yelled “get off my lawn” while in my house. Was looking out the window. I caught myself and didn’t finish it but I DEFINITELY felt like an old man when I said it!
Feeling my age depends on which day…on my long run days and my knees are aching (Even with wearing BOTH knee sleeves) after and I’m feeling the pain, I feel SO old! Then when I do certain things like laugh at the TV because cartoons are on, or days where I’m fucking like a champ (Never do these at the same time!!!) I feel like I’m young again! I guess it all depends on which activity I’m doing. To answer the question Cherry…”you’re only as old or young as you feel!”

I would like to be younger, but I would not like to be the way I was when I was younger.

 

Some days I feel my age. Maybe most days. But then I have days like today where I'm "running with the young dogs" and they are huffing and puffing, and I'm not. Getting old is inevitable (with luck) . It definitely beats the alternative.
